do you get annoyed when students stay after class just to chat? or when they come in before or after school to just talk and hang out a little bit?

I do not.  I enjoy it.  Sometimes if I am busy (usually before school), I will try to ask the student if we could chat later, unless it seems like an important conversation that the student needs to discuss.
