How do teachers feel about students sharing personal information? I’ve been absent from classes, and then I told one of my teachers that I have troubles at home, lots of arguments, and one parent is threatening to kick me out of the house, so I have been distracted from school work. I just kept getting these vibes that he was getting uncomfortable and didn’t want to hear about my personal life and I felt as if I had crossed some kind of boundary. It was so AWKWARD.

That is too bad your teacher looked uncomfortable, as he should be trying his best to make YOU feel comfortable telling him this information.  No, you have not crossed a boundary at all.  You just wanted to explain your situation, and that is perfectly fine.
