There are teacher strikes right now in my province and so we haven’t gone back to school yet and people are thinking it might be another month until we do. I feel really bad for all the teachers since they are not getting paid and the government is refusing to budge. It’s just overall really sad for everyone.

Teaching in Real Life

I’ve been following this story somewhat.  My province’s teachers also have a heated relationship with the government, and are looking to yours for some precedence.  It’s a difficult situation, and no one is happy.  Teachers WANT to teach, but there is a lot of poor legislation and handling.  It’s too bad that the public and the government sometimes blow things out of proportion.  Hopefully things are resolved soon!
