I don’t know what EVERY SINGLE teachers’ pet peeve is, but mine would have to be the use of cell phones in class. I have banned them in my class this semester. You really can’t go 2 seconds without texting or playing a game? They can easily become addictive and distract you from the world around you. Use your time in class, don’t get lost in a virtual world.
