Keep working at it. Try to find ways to adapt your lessons to things that students can personally relate to. Try new things, get students active, rather than just sitting around. There are many other ways to teach a lesson than just the teacher in the front talking. Ask some colleagues for some tips on how they work with students in the school. Good luck!
