I’m having a lot of trouble with a teacher who like to express their political opinions too much is there anyone of asking them to stop in a polite way even in a separate conversation outside of class? She’s a good teacher I just feel we get off topic to much. (p.s. She is a high school english teacher.

You could just ask to speak with them privately and explain that it makes you feel uncomfortable when those topics come up.
