It is understandable that you are feeling this way and that school work is coming second or third to your other needs. However, are your teachers aware of your situation? You don’t have to tell them all of the details, but they can’t accommodate for you if they don’t know. It wouldn’t be seen as making an excuse, either. There are so many things going on in all of our lives that we sometimes need a little bit of assistance for. I hope things work out for your family! Don’t be afraid to communicate!

If there is nothing inappropriate about the tattoo, I don’t see the harm. Having a tattoo (or three) doesn’t make a person a bad influence.

As a student, I just want to add to what that other anon asked and say than you. Thank you to the Drama teacher that hugged me when I told her my mum had cancer and said it was all going to be okay. Thank you to the history teacher who pushed through a crowd at the Menning gate to get me out when I had a panic attack. Thank you to the head of year who spent her lunches talking about everything from medical degrees to why furbys aren’t allowed in the MoD when the depression got too much ()
() and it felt like there was only one way out. You do more than pass on your skills and passion for your craft, for six hours a day you are role models, councillors and sometimes, on the bad days, you are the reason we keep going. On behalf of all the students that you’ve kept safe, thank you.

How to deal with a love letter given to you by one of your students? It’s 3 pages long and I don’t want to sound rude or anything along those lines, but it somewhat makes me uncomfortable.
Tell your administrator and they could advise you on this. You do not want to cause a problem or end up in the blue pages. The student is acting inappropriately and it needs to be dealt with, and you can’t do it alone.
