Just out of curiosity: do you ever (or have you heard of teachers that) pair students together that you/they think would make cute couples? I think I’ve heard that teachers do that but I wasn’t sure if that’s true or not

what’s your opinion on making kids do oral presentations?
Here are some other posts I’ve made on presentations:

Re tricky exam questions: It can be argued both ways. I don’t think the majority of the test should have tricky questions; however, one or two should be. Standardized tests will have tricky questions, and so will life. If the tricky questions are meant to challenge and make the students think, that’s a good thing. If, however, it’s simply meant to defeat them, then the teacher’s being an asshole.
In Ontario, we only have one standardized test that counts for graduation – the Grade 10 Literacy Test, which we go over greatly in school.  I feel I can challenge students on assignments, but don’t do so on tests because of the stress that comes along with it.  I rarely give tests, honestly.

So sometimes when I’m the center of attention in class (I’m a highschool student) I get red, sometimes extremely red and one of my teachers make fun of my every time. This isn’t just light joking, it’s full on rude remarks and laughing in my face, one time she even called me a tomato (and cue the rest of the class laughing at me because of her comment). What are your thoughts on teachers who do that, and what can I do about it?😩
Try talking to the teacher privately to explain how you feel and that you don’t appreciate it.  Always be polite.  If this doesn’t work, please talk to a guidance counsellor and/or administrator because this is bullying.
