Hello – unfortunately, I have no idea where you live or anything about sciencey stuff (I’m sure that’s a very scientific term). Look up some locations in your area and email/drop in to ask if there are any opportunities. If you’re interested in education, check with your local school board for summer school assistance opportunities. Good luck!

I know this is super completely off topic, but did you know that there are teacher crush blogs where kids hardcore crush on their teachers? I mean, I’ve had teacher crushes before (like little teen crushes, which is natural), but holy crap, I would not dedicate a blog to them. To me, it’s just a little creepy.

It’s my first year of teaching in Sweden. I read everywhere about how every teacher in the country is stressed, and my coworkers are stressed too. I think I should feel more stressed than I do. Am I missing something huge? Like am I doing something horribly wrong? One coworker said she worked 24/7 her first year. I do not do that. Are teachers overachievers and that’s why they’re stressed? I can honestly say I don’t put to much effort in my work.

If you feel you are helping your students succeed in every way possible, then that is fine. You would have to decide this for yourself. Every teacher is different.
