So, this may be a weird one, but my English teacher and I were really good friends and ever since I graduated I catch myself missing him quite a lot. He had a really big influence on me and helped me through some tough times and I just wish we still chatted like we used to. Any tips at all? Love the blog btw!

Is it usually difficult to find a good teaching job? Like, when you graduated, did you and most of the other graduating-teachers find jobs pretty quickly?
NOOOOOO. There is an over-supply of teachers in my province. Keep working at it, put yourself out there and it will happen.

i wish people knew how hard life is for teachers. my mum is a teaching assistant in an under-funded primary school and even that job is destroying her. i know how overworked & stressed teachers are and i wish i could make my classmates see that
Yes, it is, but there are definitely rewards too. You can’t make others see it; sometimes something will open their eyes to it, sometimes they will never know. That’s just how it goes.

Hello, I’m planning on being a high school art teacher, do you know if elective teachers are typically paid less than those who teach core subjects?
That doesn’t happen where I’m from. You would have to look into where you’re from/where you’d like to teach to see if that’s true.
