What’s the most irritating thing a student can do?

What are your opinions on students who are over achievers? (Who go beyond the extra mile like writing a 10 page paper when it was only supposed to be 5 kind of student)
There is nothing wrong with being an over-achiever, but 10 pages instead of 5 is too much. 6-7 pages, maybe, but 10 is too much. Part of being a good writer is saying 10 pages worth of quality content in 5 pages – quality is better than quantity. We try to teach students to be more efficient. We also don’t want students to over-extend themselves when there is more work to be done on other topics and to practice other skills.

Hi! I am a Junior. I am taking Physics and I am absolutely terrible in Math. I currently have a D+. I am trying, but my teacher gives multiple assignments and expects us to get them done by the next day. He doesn’t even give us a lesson, just reading from the chapter, and if he does give us a lesson, it is very brief and doesn’t explain much. It is really hard for me to try to catch up when I have 5 other classes. My parents do not think I am trying and I have no way to prove I am. What do I do?
Keep trying your best. Privately and politely tell your teacher your concerns and ask for some extra help. If this doesn’t work, talk to another adult in the building you trust and see what other supports are available for you in the school. Good luck.

Hi! Quick question, I’m a student wanting to give my favourite teacher a special message in their card and I was just wondering, is it a bit weird that I tell her/him how much she/he has made my life better by putting a smile on my face when I have a bad day from her/his jokes? Thx!
