Hi! I’m a senior in college, about to start student teaching. I’m very excited but also really nervous (and kinda terrified). Do you have any advice for someone starting out on what one of my professors called a “year-long interview”?

Good luck!

hi I just found your account and went through a lot of the posts and I love them!!! one thing I gathered is that school for you started at the end of August which is when schools in my area start so I was wondering if I could ask you what school you teach at? it’s totally cool if it’s not a question you can or feel comfortable about answering, I’m just curious to find out if I maybe know which school it is. I hope you have a good day :)

I teach in Ontario, and we start the day after Labour Day.
