Definitely! They wouldn’t say it if they didn’t mean it. Maybe 1-3 times a year? Otherwise it would be pushing it into staying in touch as friends and not everyone has time for that (both you and the teachers).

I just graduated high school and a bunch of my teachers told me to stay in contact with them. Do they actually mean it? And if they do, do they mean to just send them updates about my life every couple of months or so?

My teacher told me.i didn’t have to come back to school for a final that’s only 10% of my grade. So I trusted him. I had a 79 and my grade was supposed to drop to a 72. It dropped to a 66. Idk what to do I mean he told me I would pass even if I 1/2
Ditched the final, but I looked at my grades and high-school credits and it said that I didn’t pass the class so I don’t have any credit for that semester. Idk what to do I’m panicking and I’m just seriously thinking of dropping out now since 1/3 Would make me stay for maybe a whole two years back…I want to give up now because I feel so disappointed and worthless and I’m just going crazy now idk what to do 3/3
Is 66% a fail? How do you not have any credits for the entire semester for missing the exam? Have you spoken to your teacher and administrator about the situation? Discuss this with people at your school and don’t give up. If you give up, it’s only hurting you.

During the school year, I have to grade it. If it was up to me, I would not unless there were extenuating circumstances, but we are forced to accept work at any time. We are working towards policies of a “drop dead date” for every unit next year. This means that all of the work for one unit is due by one day. If a student misses that date then they can’t hand in work for that unit anymore and we move on to the next unit. I think this would work better.
When I teach summer school, I teach students about to enter university and I have a bit more freedom. I do not allow students to hand in late assignments whatsoever. It is due by 11:59pm of the deadline assigned.

It is understandable that you are feeling this way and that school work is coming second or third to your other needs. However, are your teachers aware of your situation? You don’t have to tell them all of the details, but they can’t accommodate for you if they don’t know. It wouldn’t be seen as making an excuse, either. There are so many things going on in all of our lives that we sometimes need a little bit of assistance for. I hope things work out for your family! Don’t be afraid to communicate!

If there is nothing inappropriate about the tattoo, I don’t see the harm. Having a tattoo (or three) doesn’t make a person a bad influence.
