what do you do if a student emails you saying they’re having trouble with suicidal thoughts? (yes i just did that and i’m worrying what kind of reaction i might get)

I would support the student any way I can and connect them with other systems of support.

I have reason to believe that my physics teacher is taking alcohol to school and drinking during school hours. Should I report this?

I want to be a teacher but I’m naturally a shy and reserved person, Any advice on teaching or public speaking? Do you think introverts can be teachers and can you relate? Btw I LOVE this blog, you’re awesome ❤️
Don’t we have introverted students? They need connections too, so of course we need introverted teachers! You will find what works best for you and your classes, and things get easier over time.
