Hi, I’m asking for advice…? So I just had a terrible day and had completely messed up my essay which make up around 20% of my grade. I had a meeting with the head of dept to sort it, but then my teacher talked to me saying that the head of dept feels like I’m blaming her for failing even though I never mentioned her name in the meeting, she also asked if I could read a mark scheme which i found very insulting, do u think she was right to confront me or do u think I have a right to complain?

That is too bad.  Before you complain to someone else, I would meet with your teacher to discuss your concerns about the essay, as well as how she treated you.  Be honest and share how you feel without accusing her.  If that doesn’t work, talk to a caring adult you trust about your feelings.
