It’s acceptable for a teacher and student to be friends following graduation, but some boundaries still need to be kept.
Whenever a class ends, regardless of graduation, teachers move on to the next challenge. However, I wouldn’t say we forget about the students completely. I have moments regularly where I remember students from every class I’ve taught. We don’t think about them all the time, but each student we teach is in our memories.
