I am all about school and studying hard. I’m in highschool and I have a 3.8 GPA and I’m in mostly advanced classes. But what I can’t understand is why some high school teachers are so mean. Despite my hard work, they continue to be so nasty and rude. You seem really nice and cool. I know you don’t have the magic answers for everything, but can you agree that some teachers do have incessant needs to call out students solely because they like belittling them?
If you feel that your teachers are mean to you, politely inform them of your concerns. I cannot answer for why all teachers call out students; I would hope it is not to belittle them, but if you feel this is the case then you need to express your concerns.

Do teachers purposely live outside of the town they work in to avoid encounters with students?
It would be different for every teacher. I know many teachers who live in the same community, and others outside of it. For me, it is not always a matter of choice, but more so a matter of where the jobs exist. I do enjoy working outside of where I live, but convenience and a short commute would also be enjoyable. It would be different for every teacher, I suppose.
